So I don't even know what made me think of it it, but I did a search on my types of insulin being harmful for the fetus. I didn't find a whole lot, just that Lantus may not be good. But it really made me go "HELLO! Why have I not checked back in with the Diabetes Center to help me out with this diabetes and having a baby stuff?!?!". I mean, what if I am supposed to be taking different insulin or something?! Gah! And now I am already 15 weeks and if I was doing something wrong, I will never forgive myself!
So I a made an appointment for next Thursday. They are giving me 2 hours. I am just going to be honest and tell them that none of this had even occured to me, that I thought it would all be fine if as long as I am keeping my blood sugar low. I even lied to my OB when he asked about my recent A1C levels (since he had TOLD be in the beginning to get with my diabetes people right away! Why didn't I listen?!). I told him it was about 6%. I hope they really are. Or even lower. Ok, I hope everything is ok...
