Yesterday, Jason came with to his first prenatal appointment. Baby decided to be cooperative this time, so we could hear the heartbeat with the doppler. Dr. H said it sounded "perfect". Yay!
He also said that because of the diabetes, he wanted my next ultrasound in 4 weeks to be a level 2. We are so excited! I can not wait to see baby in 3d! And we will get to find out for sure if baby is a boy or girl. I can hardly wait!
Lastly, we have to decide in the next week or so whether I should have the maternal 4 blood tests done. I am VERY on the fence about this one. On one hand, I am almost positive that the baby is fine, with no downs or spina bifida. On the other hand, would I really want to spend the rest of my pregnancy knowing if it does have one of these things? But if I am so sure that everything is fine, wouldn't it be so much better to know for absolute certain that everything is fine? Argh!! I do not know what to do about this...
