Did I sprain both ankles and not remember?

Seriously.

I have heard that ankles get swollen during pregnancy but this is CRAZY!

By the time I get home after work and take my shoes and socks off (if I can even GET them off cause they are, ya know, EMBEDDED into my skin) my calves, ankles and feet are HUGE!!! Cankles? Oh you have no idea! It literally looks like a have two sprained ankles and my feet have grown about 2 sizes...wider. It does not matter what kind of socks I am wearing, they end up cutting off the circulation leading to these blobs at the end of my legs that were once feet.

I have a pair of mary jane type shoes that have a little strap going over the top of the foot. By the end of the day, the flesh on top and bottom of the strap is about a half an inch higher than the strap itself. I am not kidding here people!!

Here is one reason that I am happy about the cold weather l-i-n-g-e-r-i-n-g around forever. At least I do not have to subject the general public (except you guys of course, and Jason, who lovingly (I hope) calls them sausages) to the blubber feet. I mean, I love new flip flops as soon as the temp hits about 45 degrees (I am a Minnesotan after all), but what are my feet going to do once they are not held in by shoe material? They may just keep swelling and swelling with no end in sight!! I mean, WHAT THEN!!!???

Ugh! I hate swollen ankles! With my first baby I was pregnant all winter and no swollen ankles. The second baby I was pregnant all summer long and it was the hottest summer in like 50 yrs or something crazy. It was 105 degrees for weeks and my ankles/ whole body swelled. My ankles hurt so bad! Try to get a pedicure or at least get your hubby to rub your chubby feet, lol! That will help them feel better!
