Well, I am 4 days away from 30 weeks! Next Wednesday begins my first of ten (or until baby comes) ultrasounds. That's right folks. I have an ultrasound every week for the next 10 weeks (or, once again, until baby comes). I know. It seems like WAY TOO MANY. They are doing it this way because of my diabetes and the effects that it can have on the babies weight and heart. There is still no reason to worry, thank goodness, but they want to take precautions.
Me and Jason joke that by the end of this, they are going to know EXACTLY when this baby is coming. Like down to the hour.

When I was pregnant with my 17 month old we started having to have ultrasounds every week starting at 28 weeks and sometimes there were 2 a week. We had so many pictures of his junk and it was hilarious! She always "double checked" the sex of the baby. Now I am pregnant again and we will have to have them every week in the 3rd trimester again. I have a weird blood clotting disorder so they have to check the baby alot. But it's exciting to see them every week!
yay! it is good they are being careful -- they are just taking extra special care of you and the little one!
