Baby Kicks

I am trying to not get to anxious about not really feeling the baby moving yet. But I get a little more impatient every day!

I have what I think are the little "flutters" throughout the day, but they are so light and quick that I am barely able to grasp onto the feeling. I read about women feeling the bably kick and hiccup and roll, and I worry that I won't be able to feel these things, or that maybe I won't know that's what I am feeling when I do.

I also feel bad, because Jason asks all the time now if I am feeling the baby kick and when HE will be able to feel the baby kick...

I know I am only 21 weeks, but it seems that others at this time are feeling their baby. I have a feeling it has to do with the fact that I am carrying extra weight around (besides the baby bump I mean) and that just makes me mad at myself.

However, I have really set my mind to eating more healthy and starting to workout. Of course, I do not expect to lose weight during my pregnancy, but I do think it will make the weight come off a lot faster after the baby comes. Not to mention being heathier for the baby now...

I just hope that the kicks get stronger soon :)

They will! I felt mine waaay earlier than what everyone said I would (I'm not sure why, hopefully it's not a really big baby!), but I think it's normal for first time mothers to feel the kicks between 16 and 20something weeks. :)
